This collaborative approach requires scheduling several visits to our center to ensure quality and comprehensive care.

Please be advise that our center does not offer primary care, urology or gynecology care. We work in a collaborative effort with these professionals.

  • We provide a range of wellness services including therapy that specializes in grief, relational and sexual wellness, intimacy coaching, somatic sessions, energy healing, and integrative mental wellness

Therapy and counseling are both terms that are used to identify a form of treatment used to help alleviate symptoms of emotional and mental distress as well as resolve behaviors, feelings, beliefs, relational patterns and body responses that one has identified as problematic. Therapists use different modalities to treat their clients based on the need and symptoms of the client. She Heals had a specializes in working with women. Teletherapy is therapy offered virtually using audio video conference software that is HIPPA compliant.

She Heals Integrative Wellness Center has a partnership with She Heals Journey to provide sex therapy to our clients.

Therapy and coaching are both valuable tools for personal growth and development, but they serve different purposes and operate within distinct frameworks.

  • Therapy, often referred to as counseling or psychotherapy, is a collaborative process between a licensed mental health professional and a client. It focuses on addressing emotional, psychological, and behavioral issues that may be causing distress or impairing functioning. Therapists are trained to diagnose and treat mental health conditions using evidence-based interventions and therapeutic techniques.
  • Coaching is a collaborative partnership between a coach and a client that focuses on achieving specific goals and creating positive change in various areas of life. Coaches help clients clarify their values, identify obstacles, and develop action plans to reach their desired outcomes. Coaching is often utilized in areas such as career development, relationships, and personal growth.

By offering both counseling and coaching services under one roof, She Heals provides a holistic approach to personal growth and transformation. We recognize that mental health and personal development are interconnected, and that addressing emotional well-being is essential for achieving lasting success and fulfillment in all areas of life.

Therapy allows you to work through your challenges in a safe, nonjudgmental environment. Therapy addresses challenges that include but are not limited to:

  • stress
  • relationships (family/friends/intimate)
  • mental health issues
  • chronic illness
  • chronic pain
  • life adjustments
  • grief
  • career
  • self discover/awareness
  • Other distressors

Let’s schedule a free 15 minute phone consultation!

The structure of the session depends on the therapist and practitioner. Sessions range from 60 to 90 minutes for therapy and wellness services.

Some therapists offer intensives, which vary in length. Please ask your therapist for details if this is something of interest.

Wellness packages provide their own time frames. Please check each package for details.

The length of treatment varies and depends on the individual’s progress rate. We do not rush the process; we trust the process.

Relationship and sex therapy are short-term sessions ranging from 6 to 12 sessions.

At She Heals, we prioritize providing the highest quality of care to our clients. In order to maintain our commitment to excellence and individualized attention, we have made the decision to operate as a self-pay practice and do not accept insurance at this time. (This may change as we continue to navigate the needs and demand of the community).

While we understand that insurance coverage can be an important consideration for many individuals seeking mental health services, we believe that operating outside of insurance networks allows us to offer a level of flexibility, privacy, and personalized care that may not always be possible within the constraints of insurance billing.

By choosing not to accept insurance, we are able to focus entirely on our clients' needs, without the limitations imposed by insurance companies. This means longer appointment times, more flexibility in scheduling, and the ability to tailor treatment plans to each individual's unique circumstances and goals.

We understand that self-pay may not be feasible for everyone, and we are committed to ensuring that our services remain accessible to those who need them. We offer competitive rates and are happy to discuss flexible payment options to accommodate your financial situation. You may also utilize your FSA/HSA benefits for services. Please check with your benefit coordinator. We also offer superbills for you to submit to your insurance provider.

(Therapy services are offered by She Heals Journey PLLC and they currently accept BCBS and Aetna).

Telehealth is a way to visit healthcare providers, such as your therapist. You can talk to your therapist from any place, including your home. You don’t go to the office. Telehealth (virtual) is also an option for our wellness coaching services

How does it help me?

  • You don’t have to go to the office to see your therapist.
  • You won’t risk getting sick from other people.
  • Saves money on gas
  • Time management becomes easy when you don’t have to drive anywhere.
  • You don’t have to hire a sitter while you’re in session.
  • You can have your session anywhere as long as the environment is private and in the state your therapist is licensed to practice in.

How do I use telehealth?

  • You talk to your therapist by phone, computer, or tablet. We prefer video for confidentiality and security purposes. Sometimes, you use video so you and your therapist can see each other.

Will my telehealth visit be private?

  • We will not record visits with your therapist.
  • If people are close to you, they may hear something you did not want them to know. You should be in a private place, so other people cannot hear you.
  • Your therapist will tell you if someone else from their office can hear or see you.
  • We use telehealth technology that is designed to protect your privacy.
  • If you use the Internet for telehealth, use a network that is private and secure.
  • There is a very small chance that someone could use technology to hear or see your telehealth visit.

Can telehealth be bad for me?

  • You and your therapist won’t be in the same room, so it may feel different than an office visit.
  • Your therapist may make a mistake because they cannot examine you as closely as at an office visit. (We don’t know if mistakes are more common with telehealth visits.)
  • Your therapist may decide you still need an office visit.
  • Technical problems may interrupt or stop your visit before you are done. We will try our best to have accommodations in place to continue your session.

How much does a telehealth visit cost?

  • A telehealth visit will not cost any more than an office visit.

Any questions about teletherapy please contact us . We will be more than happy to assist you.

What if I try telehealth and don't like it?

  • You can stop using telehealth at any time, even during a telehealth visit. If you are local
or open to drive to our physical location, we can schedule in person visits in the office. If you are not local, we will refer you to a local therapist who accepts in-person clients.
  • For in-person sessions, we follow strict hygiene and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of our clients. This includes regular sanitization, social distancing, and adherence to health guidelines.
  • We welcome feedback from our clients. You can share your thoughts through our online feedback form, or feel free to discuss your experience directly with your wellness service provider.
